In today's verse by verse study through the Book of 2 Corinthians, Pastor Tom finishes chapter 10. All true authority comes from God and as we walk in the lane of authority God has given us, we will find fulfillment and purpose. However, if we choose to compare ourselves with others trying to operate in authority not given by God it will only lead to a sense of pride of a feeling of failure.

All ministry begins with God’s heart for God’s people. We can't just take the experiences of some and project it across the whole church. We must be aware of and praying specifically for the individuals and the needs of the entire church. That’s exactly what James demonstrates in his life, and that’s what he exhorts us to do as Christians and members of the church.
